If you're a maker, your Fall projects always include pumpkins!
Crocheting a pumpkin is very easy, a great
beginner project and pretty much fool proof.
Here is a FULL VIDEO TUTORIAL on how to crochet a pumpkin!
The length of your initial chain will change the size of your pumpkin.
I have included 2 sizes below (small and medium), but you can go smaller or larger very easily.
Assembling the wreath took me no more than 10 minutes with a glue gun.
Fun project that you can keep for every Fall season!
There are lots of photos below, plus I made a video tutorial on How to Crochet a Pumpkin.
It shows step by step from start to finish. Click HERE to watch it!

OTH Crochet Nook: Crochet Pumpkin Wreath
Yarn: Brava Mini in Cream, Almond, Brindle, and Coral (you can make 1 small and 1 medium pumpkin using 1 Brava Mini)
Hook: 5mm Furls Crochet Odyssey Hook
Scissors
Tapestry Needle
Polyfil
Cinnamon Sticks
Glue Gun
Wreath with greenery
Legend:
Ch = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet
BLO = Back Loop Only
SL ST = Slip Stitch
Pumpkin:
Small Pumpkin: Ch 11
Medium Pumpkin: Ch 16
Row 1: DC in 2nd from the hook, DC across until the end of the row, turn. <Small (10)/Medium (15)>
Row 2: Ch 1. DC BLO across until the end of the row, turn.
Repeat Row 2 for 10 rows (small size) or 12 rows (medium size)
DO NOT FASTEN OFF.
Fold in half, SC across, SL ST and fasten off leaving a 5" long tail.
Using that tail, with your tapestry needle, weave that end closed, pull tight and knot twice.
Stuff with polyfil.
Now you should have a squishy looking ball.
To turn it into a pumpkin and get the grooves around it, cut a long tail and use your tapestry needle.
It's better to see this visually, click HERE to watch how to do this.
***
Knot and cut the loose ends.
Use a glue gun to attach cinnamon sticks for the stem.
Wreath Assembly:
I grabbed this wreath for only $8 at my local craft store, along with this greenery for only $5.
I used my glue gun to assemble it this way.
You can get creative and add more or less pumpkins, more greenery, etc
That's it!
I'd love to see your crochet pumpkins!
