Faux Fur yarn is luxurious.
Any project made with faux fur yarn looks and feels gorgeous.
The ONLY disadvantage is not being able to SEE your stitches.
It takes a few times, a few frogs, and you'll get it. You have to FEEL for the stitches.
I wouldn't suggest crocheting with faux fur yarn if you are a beginner. Definitely give it a try once you've gotten the basics of crochet locked in.
Now for this rug...I wanted to make a cozy rug for my toes for my Dream Box desk.
(Side note: use the code OTHCROCHETNOOK for $100 off your Dream Box)
I didn't want it to large, but just enough to lay under my desk legs.
You can make this as large as you want, once you get the hang of the pattern - it's easy to understand where to increase.
This yarn is from WeCrochet.
Fable Fur is 100% polyester and holds its shape so well.
It's a bulky weight meaning your project will whip up very quickly.

Notes before you begin:
- Using a stitch marker is MANDATORY. You will not be able to SEE your stitches, so to re-count is a difficult task if you aren't sure if you've finished a round or not. Place your marker in the first or last stitch of each round.
- I crocheted looser than I normally would so I could feel the stitches easier. If your stitches are tight it will make it even more difficult to FEEL for them
- Chain 1 at the beginning of each round is optional
